Just joined and downloaded 61 pics in default album. Then I edited name and path and now I can't retrieve or view these photos anymore. Could someone help please.

Hi,
I still cannot access my albums. I had tried to move them around into a newer album and somehow they are lost (I did upload newer firefox like you told me to.)
These albums seem to be lost in my account somehow!

Hello, love how the site works. However, is there anyway to get rid of the www.monkeyview.com heading that shows up over my pics when i post them outside of the monkeyview domain? You probably need a newer browser. You can select another TEMPLATE for your album and that will fix the problem. Your OLD browser needs an upgrade. Download FireFox

Great you're bringing MonkeyView along, looks really great! Been a fan of its cool simplicity for a long time already, whenever I show it to people with a little art in their vibe they really like it a lot.

Just two questions, (1) is there no more Search on the MonkeyView main page to find a user Name's pages? and (2) read you telling coupla people to upload image batches in a .zip file. then will MonkeyView...or you manually? can't believe!...open the zip file and will they all appear in the user's PHOTOS list? (did notice a really new user has something like almost 10,000 photos suddenly, is that how it was done?) and then you just move them to the page where you want each to appear, add title & desciption text & stuff?
zip files are automatically opened and added to the site... the server looks for images in the zip file and addes them to the folder you select on the image upload page (or you could call it a ZIP upload page). Oh, the date next to the user is the date of the Last Photo Added By That User, not their joining date.

and hey, it's really cool you put each of our own URLs on the FAQ page for us already, that's so natural & helpful, Rudy

Zdenek: make a .zip file of your images and then upload the .zip. I think the size limit is around 10MB. If you pre shrink the images to 700 pixels wide on your computer, you ought to be able to eadily fit 10 or 20 images into one zip and still have the file size be under 10Mb.

You can add multiple files by putting them in a .ZIP file (total limit is around 8MB per uploaded file [eg your .zip can only up to 8 or so MB]).

You can add multiple images if they are in a ZIP file. ".zip" must be at the end of the filename. You can make a ZIP file on Macs, Windows, and Unix boxes. No, I will not support some other format that only works on your non compatible computer.

As for access via email address URLs, that is passe. Too many emailbots were harvesting this site.

Broken links and wierdness? Try editing a page and then using the RELOAD button on your browser.

AAARGH!! When I post my monkeyview pictures on other people's mesage boards, they collapse when you tag your banner on them. Basically they crunch down to a bar the size of your banner and "www.monkeyview.net" gets pushed off to the side. This appears to be a recent problem as it's only happened with the past few attempts. I use GraphiConverter to make the pics I upload. This is occurring on different boards using different software. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.
